Kaity Stone, LCSW, ADS

Kaity Stone (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and AcuDetox Specialist (ADS) with advanced graduate training in social work and clinical psychology. She is the owner and lead therapist of Open-Minded Counseling, PLLC (OMC), where she provides compassionate, client-centered psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families.

With over 20 years of personal practice in mindfulness and meditation, Kaity thoughtfully integrates these principles into her therapeutic work to support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and resilience. Her approach is collaborative, affirming, and grounded in evidence-based practices.

Open-Minded Counseling is dedicated to creating an inclusive, respectful, and affirming environment where clients feel safe exploring their mental and emotional health. OMC specializes in culturally responsive and affirming care for the LGBTQIA+ community, while welcoming clients of all backgrounds. Services are tailored to each client’s unique identity, experiences, and goals.

Based in Fort Worth, Texas, Kaity offers both in-person and telehealth psychotherapy services in accordance with state licensure requirements. Outside of her professional work, she finds joy in nature, reading, and life’s simple pleasures—including a great dessert and a peaceful walk.
