Hi! I’m Kaity Stone (she/her/hers) and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and an AcuDetox Specialist (ADS) with Master’s degrees in both Social Work and Clinical Psychology. I am a licensed LCSW in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma and have an office in Fort Worth, TX. I work with clients both in-person and virtually, as requested. I am an affirmative therapist who is inclusive and supportive of everyone who enters my door. Professional Experience

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I am proud and honored to say that my mission of living a life of service has continued throughout my entire professional career. I have worked with pregnant and parenting students to help them succeed and graduate high school, supported and cared for thousands of students, families, and staff in the public school system, supported young adults aging out of the foster care system, and worked with women and children who were homeless in the Tarrant County area. I have stood in front of hundreds of people to discuss, train, and teach about the importance of self-care, gratitude, mindfulness, and kindness.

I have put myself on the frontlines of direct care since my undergraduate days in the early 2000’s. 20 years later, I am still putting myself on the frontlines to help those most in need. One of my primary goals at Open-Minded Counseling, PLLC is to be active within my LGBTQIA+ community and to be a voice of support and healing. I spent nine highly successful years working within the public schools and I did not take lightly the decision to leave the school district. I have always been proud and honored to work within the helping capacity and this current journey will be no different.

Life is meant to be lived.

Start living your best life now.
