What types of therapy do you offer?

We provide various therapies including individual and couples sessions tailored to your needs.

Can therapy be fun?

Yes! Therapy can be a place of self-discovery, joy, and laughter. Therapy can be hard work, but it can also be fulfilling and highly rewarding.

Do you support LGBTQ+ clients?

Yes, we offer affirmative and inclusive care for LGBTQ+ individuals in a respectful environment. All people are welcome at Open-Minded Counseling.

How can I schedule an appointment?

You can book a session by texting us via phone or sending an email.

What should I expect in my first session?

We will talk about what brings to you therapy and what you are hoping to gain from our work together. We will discuss goals, the best treatment approach, and possible wraparound services.

Are services available online?

Yes, we offer secure teletherapy options to accommodate your needs and comfort. We are able to service clients physically located in Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.

Services are provided by Kaity Stone, LCSW, licensed by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council.

Do you take insurance?

Not at this time, however, I am able to provide a Superbill upon request, which can be submitted to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

Do you provide emergency or crisis services?

No. This practice does not provide emergency or crisis care. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911, 988, or go to your nearest emergency room.

What are my rights as a client?

You have the right to receive services in a professional, ethical, and respectful manner. You also have the right to ask questions about your care and to have concerns addressed in a timely way.

How do I file a complaint?

If we are unable to resolve your concerns to your satisfaction, you may file a complaint with the licensing board:
